How many types of badges are there?

There are [Guest], [Industry], [Press], and [DocuPass].

When is the badge application deadline and how much is it?

The badge application period for the 16th DMZ International Documentary Film Festival is from 8. 14. (Wed) 14:00 to 9. 10. (Tue) 23:59.
All badges except DocuPass are free. DocuPass is KRW 40,000 as of 2024.
If you wish to issue the badge after the application period, please purchase and use the DocuPass (paid) on-site. (other badges cannot be purchased on-site)

I don¡¯t work at the film industry, but can I still buy the badge?

General audiences can purchase a paid badge, [DocuPass].

After applying the badge, when will I know if my badge been approved?

Once you register, we will review the qualification documents to decide the approval status. The approval will be decided within three business days from the application date. When the badge is approved, we send a separate approval email. If you haven¡¯t received any email, please contact our staff (badge@dmzdocs.com).
You can also visit [Check Application] page on the website. Please be aware that we do not send a separate email when the badge is rejected.

I want to edit my personal information.

If you already applied the badge, you cannot edit your personal information online. If you want to edit, please contact the badge manager (badge@dmzdocs.com).

When and where can I receive my badge?

Once your badge is approved, please visit the badge desk located at outdoor patio, 3F, MEGABOX KINTEX (3F, 817, Hosu-ro, Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do) to receive your badge. You must bring ID (or driver¡¯s license) for verification. The badge issuance may be rejected when you don¡¯t have ID to verify yourself.

¡ØThe Badge Desk is not open on the day of the Opening Ceremony (September 26).

I lost my badge/I left my badge at home. Can I reissue my badge?

If you already have received your badge, it cannot be reissued. Please note that you cannot receive badge benefits without actual badge.

DocuPass> I want to cancel the badge and get a refund.

If your DocuPass has been approved, please send a refund request email to badge@dmzdocs.com until 9. 13. (Fri). Please note that refund is unavailable when the badge production starts.

Can I book a ticket with my badge number without an actual badge?

You cannot book a ticket only with your badge number, and you must bring your actual badge. If you have already received your badge, it cannot be reissued. So, please be careful not to lose it.
