The badge application period for the 18th DMZ International Documentary Film Festival is from Tue, Aug. 11 at 2:00 PM to Tue, Aug. 25 at 11:59 PM, 2026.
All badges except the Press Badge require payment. Please see the Badge Information page for details on fees and benefits by badge type.

Refunds may be requested through the Check Application page by confirming and canceling your payment before the application deadline (Aug. 25, 2026). Refunds are not available after the deadline. Once a refund is requested, it will be processed after email confirmation, and depending on the card issuer, it may take approximately 7 to 10 business days.

Once your application has been received, the person in charge will review your documents and notify you of the result by email within 3 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays).
If you receive an email stating that your application was not approved, it means you were found not to meet the eligibility requirements for badge issuance. In that case, a payment instruction email will not be sent.
If you deleted any text messages related to the badge application or payment, please get in touch with the badge coordinator at badge@dmzdocs.com. After verification, the message will be resent.

Once your badge application has been completed, individual edits cannot be made online. If you need to make changes, please contact the badge coordinator at badge@dmzdocs.com.

Once approved, badges may be picked up at the Badge Desk located in the 1st floor lobby of Lakins Mall (1F, 817 Hosu-ro, Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do). Please make sure to bring a valid ID for identity verification, such as a driver’s license or passport. Badge issuance may be denied if your identity cannot be verified due to failure to present ID.

Sep. 16 (Wed): 9:30 AM — 2:00 PM
※ The Badge Desk will not operate on Thu, Sep. 10, the festival’s opening day.

Physical badges cannot be reissued once they have been picked up. However, you may use your mobile badge by logging in through the official website or mobile app.

Tickets cannot be booked using only the badge number. If you lose your physical badge, you may log in to your mobile badge account and make reservations online. Since issued badges cannot be reissued, please take care not to lose your badge.
