The 17th DMZ International Documentary Film Festival badge application period is from August 12 (Tue) 14:00 to August 26 (Tue) 23:59. Docupass badge application period is from August 28 (Thu) 14:00 to September 8 (Mon) 23:59. All badges except Docupass are free. Docupass costs 40,000 KRW as of 2025. If you wish to receive a badge after the application period, please purchase and use Docupass (paid) within the application period. (On-site issuance not available)
You can purchase DOCUPASS, a paid badge for general audiences.
After registration is received, we review the applicant's qualification documents and decide on approval. Approval status is determined within at least 3 business days after application, and separate approval emails are sent to badge issuance recipients. If you don't receive an email, please contact the manager (badge@dmzdocs.com). Approval status can also be checked on the [Check Application] page of the site. Please note that separate emails are not sent for badge non-approvals.
If you have competed badge registration, individual online modification is not possible. If you wish to make the edits, please contact the badge manager (badge@dmzdocs.com).
Approved badges can be collected at the badge desk located at Lakins Mall, 1st floor lobby (1st Floor, 817 Hosu-ro, Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do) Please prepare ID (or driver's license) that can prove your identity. Badge issuance may be rejected if identity verification is difficult due to lack of ID.

¡Ø The Badge Desk is not open on the day of the Opening Ceremony (September 11).
Collected badges cannot be reissued, and please note that it may be difficult to receive existing benefits without a badge.
For confirmed Docupass issuers, please send a refund request email to badge@dmzdocs.com by September 9 (Tue) at 12:00, and we will assist you. Please understand that refunds are difficult after this time as badge production begins.
Ticket booking is difficult with just the badge number, and you must bring the physical badge. Please be careful of loss as collected badges are also difficult to reissue.
